Jaxson "Jax" Fraser is a Jamaican American 2D visual artist and character designer, currently based in Orlando, Florida. Born and raised in suburban Maryland with a strong connection to his Jamaican heritage, Jax’s artistic identity is shaped by a blend of cultural richness and personal storytelling. His creative journey began early—self-taught in drawing, experimenting with music, and attending local art festivals with his family. These roots continue to inspire his work, which centers on personality-driven design, vibrant color language, and emotionally resonant narratives.
Jax holds a B.F.A. in Emerging Media: Experimental Animation from the University of Central Florida (Class of 2025) and an A.A. in Visual Arts from Howard Community College (Class of 2020). His artistic practice spans illustration, animation, and visual development, with a particular focus on character-driven storytelling.
He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and has been featured in Project B.E.S.T.’s Tomorrow Magazine (Issue No. 2) as an artist highlight. He also contributed to The Timucua Story: 25 Years of Arts and Culture as a design intern. Jax’s work reflects both his cultural roots and his passion for exploring identity, memory, and change through visual art.
